I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents and
adults. I have over 7 years of experience in the social work field which has given me a unique
ability to utilize sensitivity and compassion when engaging with youth and adults who are
affected by anxiety, depression, challenges with self-esteem, mental health, trauma,
relationship issues and substance abuse. I cultivate a feeling of ease, offer validation and
promote empowerment with a disposition that is clinically appropriate, professional and
I have experience providing various counseling services including individual therapy, family
therapy, group therapy, and couples therapy. Most recently, I have spent over the last 3 years
providing intensive outpatient group therapy in a behavioral health hospital setting for both
mental health and substance abuse. In this setting, I also have the opportunity to provide
clinical mentoring and training to master level interns.
I believe we are all unique in our experiences, traits, values and perspectives. Therefore, I
provide therapy services that are strength based and person centered. I use an integrative
approach to help maximize the benefits of therapy. This includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy,
Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Creative Expressions, Brief Solution-focused Therapy
and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
I believe we all have the capacity to overcome our challenges which can result in a better
understanding of self and an increased sense of empowerment.
