Jaimee Ory is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Alcohol and Drug Addictions Counselor and Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist. She is also a trained EMDR therapist. Jaimee graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts and University of Illinois-Chicago, obtaining a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Children and Family. She has been practicing since 2004.


Jaimee engaged in 5 years of Post-Graduate work at the Wellness Institute in Seattle, Washington, where she received advanced training in treating complex PTSD, shock and dissociation, as well as attachment disorders, addictions and self-medicating behaviors, “people addictions” (sex, romance or love addictions), codependency and relationship issues and grief and loss struggles. Jaimee has served as a clinical consultant to a developing addictions treatment program in Illinois, as well as PTI Teacher for the Wellness Institute. She has developed and facilitated several transformative therapy groups and workshops.  Jaimee provides holistic psychotherapy by focusing on the integration of mind, body and spirit into the healing process.


She has expertise in working with self injurious behaviors, Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA Recovery), family of origin issues, teenagers who have behavioral and/or emotional difficulties, women's issues (including infertility) and depression. She also provides couples counseling, particularly with marriages and relationships that are going through affair recovery and other betrayals that can occur in marriage, such as from drug addiction or pornography.


Jaimee has been a Foster Parent and is a Foster-Adopt Parent. She has served on a Foster Care Review Board and spoke at training's for Foster/Adopt Parents on 'Parenting the Traumatized Child'. She works with Foster/Adopt parents needing tools to target attachment struggles and other behaviors that accompany children that struggle with PTSD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and/or ADHD, as well as support and guidance for the exhaustion and struggles that the parents can go through as they help these children heal.

Jaimee only sees children that are 13 years or older. She does not work with Austim Spectrum issues or OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).
