Dr. Jared Dinehart is a psychologist licensed in Arizona, Alabama, and Utah.  He completed his Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University after completing both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in psychology.  Dr. Dinehart received specialty training in couple’s counseling, disability issues, and assessment of mental disorders as part of his internship training.  He has also received advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and sex addiction therapy and recovery.  He has served as a staff psychologist in university counseling centers in Utah, Hawaii, Texas, and, most recently, Alabama where he also served as the Disability Services Coordinator.

In addition to outpatient services, Dr. Dinehart remains active in education and professional growth.  He works as an adjunct faculty in the Maricopa Community College system where he teaches psychology courses.  Dr. Dinehart previously served as the Clinical Director with ANASAZI Foundation in Mesa, Arizona which provides residential treatment for youth and young adults.

He believes in active participation in community and sings in the East Valley Millennial Choirs and Orchestras who provide high quality music opportunities for youth to adults 

Dr. Dinehart has been highly involved in many areas of mental health service and believes in a positive health approach to wellness.  He seeks to provide patients a collaborative environment in which to address mental health issues while also utilizing effective interventions for change.

Daniel received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University in 2003 and have been practicing counseling full-time since then.  Prior to providing outpatient counseling, he worked at ANASAZI Foundation (a wilderness based, residential treatment program) for over 10 years either as a counselor or Coordinator of Clinical Services. 

He is impressed by the resilience and strength demonstrated by those he works with and trusts in their ability to meet the challenges they face.  Motivation and courage to make desired changes is fostered in the context of a nurturing relationship. He provides a counseling environment of this nature through:

  • Asking questions that help to elicit self-awareness and insight
  • Listening compassionately
  • Maintaining a kind, gentle and calm approach 
  • Focusing on strengths, successes and progress
  • Inviting others to trust their own intuition
  • Encouraging compassion for self and others
  • Respecting the self-determination of each individual 
  • Unconditional  Acceptance

He specializes in the following areas:

 Since 1998, Nicole has experience working with children and teens with a history of abuse and disruptive behavior disorders. She holds a certificate of completion in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a specialized treatment for those suffering from symptoms due to past abuse and significant trauma. She has also had extensive training and experience working with teens and adults with personality and mood disorders using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Nicole works with children, teens and their families beginning at age 3; specializing in adjustment problems, Depression, Mood disorders, Anxiety, out of control behavior, juvenile delinquency, substance use, eating disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, divorce, school and peer problems and other family issues. She also works with adults, especially those who are seeking to heal past trauma and those suffering from Depression, Anxiety and personality disorders. Nicole often takes a systems approach to treatment due to time spent working as a Multi-systemic Therapist. She is comfortable providing individual, group, family and couples counseling.  Ms. LoRe works with patients 3-years-old and above.

 With an MS in Social Work from Arizona State University, Amanda's specialties include working with children and their families to process trauma and improve relationships. She does so by using multiple modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT skills (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), play therapy, and sand tray therapy.

Amanda has experience working with those suffering from depression, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, school and peer problems, neglect, a history of abuse, self harming, relationship concerns, and other family problems. She has worked in a variety of situations including group homes, residential, outpatient, and community mental health settings

 After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Arizona State University, JR completed a
Master of Arts degree in Sport Psychology at California State University, Fresno, and then a Master of Counseling at Arizona State University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified
Counselor. During his professional career, JR has had a diverse set of experiences working in a variety of settings, such as outpatient clinics, using an integrated healthcare model, and specialized schools for children and adolescents exhibiting problem behaviors.  He has also provided services both urban and rural communities, in-home therapy, and consulting with athletes.

He has extensive training and experience with depressive and anxiety disorders, anger management, effective parenting strategies, disruptive adolescent behaviors, grief and loss, life problems and stress, AD/HD, and
adjustment disorders. JR works with individuals, families, couples, children that are 12 and older, and groups.

JR centers his practice on the philosophy that every individual/family is unique and, as such, requires an individualized approach. Combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a systems perspective, JR approaches every session with an emphasis on collaboration, action, responsibility, and support.

 Recognizing the need for help in navigating life and emotional challenges is the first step on a path to making changes. This awareness can lead to a decision to seek help from a counselor. Loralynne believes in the connection between mind and body. When wounds of the mind move toward healing, the body can receive positive change. She has experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, navigating relationships, self-harm behaviors, codependency, emotion regulation, addicts, partners of addicts (sexual, drug, and gambling) and personality disorders. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist for individuals.
